Net Zero Solutions Business Roundtable Delivers White Paper: How B.C. Can Compete in a Net Zero World

On January 18, the Net Zero Solutions Business Roundtable delivered a Business Leaders Offer Insights into How B.C. Can Compete in a Net Zero World. The White Paper is designed to share eight important insights into how business and government can collaborate to reduce emissions, attract investment and grow jobs in British Columbia in the transition to a net zero economy.

As a developer and manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cell solutions, Loop Energy is proud to be part of the Net Zero Solutions Business Roundtable alongside other leading net zero solution providers like Innergex, ChargePoint, Ballard Power Systems, Carbon Engineering, Cascadia Windows & Doors, HCMA, Hydra Energy, Small Planet Supply and Terramera. The White Paper is a positive step forward in defining what is needed to create a prosperous and sustainable net zero future.

The eight insights show innovation, investment, and participation from the private sector will prove crucial to achieving B.C.’s goal of building a sustainable and inclusive net zero future. Provincial and utility policies, programs and investment will  also prove key to leverage and attract private investment, and build robust competitive markets for net zero solution providers. The findings show there is significant capital available for investment in net zero solutions, but B.C. will have to compete with other jurisdictions to secure investment and talent.
